Captain America: The Winter Soldier hitting smartphones and tablets next month

Marvel and Gameloft love each other, that much is sure. After Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Thor, it’s time for the French mobile game developer to bring Marvel’s Captain America to Android, iOS, and Windows Phone portable devices in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a recently announced mobile game tie-in to the blockbuster movie of the same name that’s hitting theaters in March. Coincidentally, that’s exactly when this title should appear on iOS App Store, Android Play Store, and Windows Phone Store.

From what we’ve been able to confirm, Captain America: The Winter Soldier mobile game is a 3D brawler that will feature an original narrative  co-written by Marvel, awesome cel-shaded visuals, a lengthy single player campaign, and at least one multiplayer mode of play with clans, leagues, and everything else you’d expect from a modern, high-budget, license-based video game.

The movie itself is launching on March 26th, and it’s expected that this interactive tie-in will emerge on app stores worldwide a couple of days before that. Also, it’s possible that the Windows Phone version of the game will launch a bit later, in early April. That’s yet to be confirmed, though, so stay tuned on PGR for more updates.
